Functional Safety

Encore Semi’s Functional Safety Solutions Group (FSSG) is centered around a team of Functional Safety Experts. FSSG provides customers with full service functional safety support relative to the safety life cycle product development. The markets we serve are Automotive, Medical and Aerospace and Defense.

RF/AMS Design

With solid experience, our engineering community is used to provide engineering solutions to support RF and Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) design projects. We also leverage our ecosystem and partners when necessary to assure the expected results.

Complex IP Optimization/Verification

We support our customers based on their reference RTL code of the IP (Soft IP), and possible associated hard-coded cells (Hard IP). Our engineers perform the steps necessary to properly model, optimize and verify the IP, to make it ready for delivery to an integrator.

SoC/ASIC Full-chip integration

We developed a strong capability to perform efficient and complete integration of SoCs or ASICs. Our customers usually provide a specification, a micro-architecture, and the IP blocks to be integrated, and our engineering teams develop the wrappers and glue-logic for each of the IP blocks.

Physical design: from RTL/Netlist to GDS2

We established a multi-expertise team to support Physical Design projects, and have executed on SoC implementation projects using Synopsys and Cadence tool suites in process with technologies down to 7nm. This environment allows for a broad flexibility in terms of how we support our customer’s projects.
